The Week That Was

The untimely demise of YSR - While i am the one who isn't very fascinated by any of the current political parties (LokSatta being exception) and the leaders, the news still come as a shock. He surely has taken up some of the commendable projects. His focus on agriculture, his reach to the poor, his everlasting smile, the value he gives for friendship are just some of his qualities that took him closer to his people. I can't believe that we got together to drink on that day. It wasn't for any celebration though.

Josh - Watched the much awaited debut movie of Naga Chaitanya on Saturday.

The Get Together - Being planned for several weeks, it finally happened this weekend. It was supposed to be a treat from me but it happened to be dutch in the end. On Sunday afternoon, we(Pradeep & Pallavi, Sunil & Pramukha, Ravi & Athula, Manoz, Subba and me) went to the biriyani place in JeevanBheema Nagar. As Sunil & Pramukha drove away to 'Josh' after lunch, rest of us walked into Corner House.

Change of cook - We had to let go of the cook who had been with us for the last 3 years. An old lady(am still to ask for name) is now in his place. Good that she speaks fluent English.
