To the Lal Bagh

As i walked in to see the temple standing on top of a small rocky hill, the first thing it reminded me was the Nagarjuna and Vijayashanthi's movie Jaanaki Raamudu. I think that's the kind of place that reminds them of their past life in the movie. Just like that, it reminded me that i have been on it once. Once in the past five years that i have been in Bangalore.

While i might have circled around the gardens for hundreds of times on my way to office and home, it was only once that i went to Lal Bagh. I certainly don't remember when and why. Today afternoon after lunch, as we were waiting for the power to come back, Sreeni reminded us of the wine festival that was going on in Lal Bagh. A lame reason but was enough to get the three nothing-to-do bachelors out of the house on a Saturday afternoon. After a couple of hours there in the middle of trees, shrubs, herbs, flowers and the seemingly couples on almost every desolate corner, we were out of the place. Back home but not before a little detour to Jayanagar 9th block for the mirchi bajjis.

Here are some photos of the place with mostly me vying for attention..

You have really tempted me with those waterlily pictures. Got any chance to sample those wines?
